Circle of Faith Beneath the monumental arches of Guadalajara’s Hospicio Cabañas, a group of nuns forms a quiet circle, holding hands as though suspended outside of time. The vast architecture rises above them like a silent witness, while heavy clouds gather over the historic courtyard. Their movement feels almost like a dance—simple, humble, and eternal. Captured in black and white, the photograph explores faith, ritual, community, and human fragility within spaces built to outlive generations. An everyday moment becomes a cinematic meditation on spirituality and solitude in the midst of grandeur. This photograph represented France at the World Photographic Cup in 2018. Part of the series Everyday Poetry in Mexico by Antoine Maume. - Photography by Antoine Maume (France), Digital Photography on Paper. Its dimensions are 50x75 cm.
