Really hard game
Oil · 2026
I created this work in a smaller format 2 years ago. It aroused a great response from the audience and I decided to create it for interested parties in an enlarged form. I think that in such a version it will be a more worthy addition to the interior. The work is not finished, it is on order. The painting takes 4-5 weeks from ordering. Story about the painting: "Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by the paintings of great painters, in which they were able to paint human bodies and portraits in an incredibly perfectly realistic way. Like alive. I decided that I would try to at least approach such mastery in my work. That is also why every new painting of a woman or a man is a big challenge for me. Sometimes the idea of a future work is born in my head, and then I usually spend a long time looking for a suitable model for it. Other times, the idea of a work comes to me spontaneously while looking at a person. Then I play with it in my imagination and when it is assembled in my mind into a definitive form, I start working on the painting. The painting Really hard game is an allegorical depiction of the influence of today's strange and fleeting times on the young generation. Teenage girls today seem much more eccentric, self-confident, provocative, erotic, crazy, physically mature, more developed than when I was their age. Sometimes I feel like the world has gone a little crazy. But since I'm an artistic soul with a wild imagination, I usually don't mind the craziness. This painting is an example of that. Maybe it will stir your imagination a bit..." This work is a unique original work of art - Painting by Peter Duhaj (Hungary), Oil on Canvas.
